What is a Trust Account PIN? |
The Nevada Secretary of State's office requires all new trust account assignments to web profiles be made with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is secret to the trust account owner or administrator within your organization. This secret PIN will help ensure that your trust account is not used fraudulently by anyone outside of your organization. If you do not know what your secret PIN is, please check with the staff member responsible for depositing funds into your trust account. If that person does not have the secret trust account PIN on file, you can contact the Secretary of State's accounting department at (775) 684-5780. All trust account owners should have been emailed this PIN number at the time when those numbers were created but some administrators had no email address on file within the Secretary of State's accounting system.

How do I assign an existing Trust Account to my profile? |
You can visit the Edit Saved Trust Accounts page here, select "Add A New Trust Account" from the Account# drop down menu, type in the trust account number associated with your organization, type in the trust account Personal Identification Number (PIN) and click the Save button. If the contact information you provided in your web profile (see the "My Profile" menu item at the top of this page, select "Edit Contact Information") matches closely with the contact information associated with the trust account AND the PIN number matches exactly to the PIN associated with your account, the assignment will be made. If the information does not match, the assignment will not be made and you may have to edit your contact information or PIN.

What do I do if I can't successfully assign my Trust Account to my profile? |

You will be asked a series of questions to verify your association with the organization that set up this trust account before the assignment can be made.
